On April 14th of this year, March of Dimes will be holding their annual fundraiser walk which raises funding for research and the support of families with babies in the NICU.
March of Dimes works to fight premature birth, birth defects, and giving babies like Sofi a better chance at survival and a happy, healthy life. The March of Dimes contributed significantly to the use of nitric oxide and surfactant- two therapies that saved Sofi's life by preventing her poorly developed lungs from collapsing.
