Look! it's your cute little leg

What a relief it was to see your sweet face yesterday! After another little scare on Friday, we couldn't have been more excited than we were when we saw you squirming around. We had an ultrasound and saw your brain, arms, legs- so cool! Good story- D came with me, but as you will find out, he has a tough time with medical "things" and got a bit lightheaded during the ultrasound. He had to sit it out the rest of our appointment, but at least got to hear everything going on. We heard your heartbeat- it was so fast! It must be all the developing going on down there. You are working so hard! It was a dream to see how well you are doing. While your calculated gestational age was 11 weeks 0 days yesterday, your gestational age based on measurement was 11 weeks 6 weeks! So maybe you will come a bit sooner than we thought! The doctor printed some more pictures out for us, though you were much more difficult to get a good image of this time around.

In other news, it's our 3rd wedding anniversary today. You have the best dad ever, and I have the best husband. I feel very lucky to be married to such an awesome guy. What a happy little family we will be! I love you so much.
