{sounds}

Right after you were born tubes were put down your trachea so that you could breathe. These tubes passed through your voice box making it so no sounds could come from your tiny body. This was the case up until roughly 36 hours ago when the tubes were removed and you were put on CPAP. Sofi, I heard you cry/fuss for the very first time today. It was music to my ears. I didn't like that you were uncomfortable, but to hear you be able to make a noise of any kind was miraculous and quite possibly the coolest thing yet. You continue to do well on your CPAP and we hope that you are able to stick to it. You amaze me.

I love you, my love bug.
